The training hall aims to widely disseminate the teachings of the Obaku Zen sect, established in 1971 as a Zen training hall by Manpukuji, a sub-temple of Mount Obaku. It continues to welcome various visitors for Zen practice experiences, corporate training programs, and student field trips (refer to the website).
